Cooperation with the Institut of Technology Bandung

Since 2004 exists a close cooperation between the Applied Informatics and the school of electrical engineering and informatics of the  Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) und der Swiss German University (SGU) Jakarta in Indonesien.

As part of this cooperation exists an exchange of students in the winter and summer term. Students of the applied informatics did internships at the ITB in Bandung and the SGU in Jakarta. Interns from indonesia worked in different projects at the applied informatics. Mr. Yudha Kuntjoro was the first student from indonesia, who successfully graduated of the master program of applied informatics.

The relation is manifested in a cooperation agreement between the applied informatics and the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.

  • October 2007: study group of the ITB with Dr. Aman Mostavan visits the University for Applied Sciences Erfurt incl. a two day workshop onApplied Computer Science and Engineering Physics
  • 2001-2007: Dr. Oerip Santoso of Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) in Indonesia teaches „Software-Engineering“ at the University for Applied Sciences Erfurt
  • Students of the University for Applied Sciences Erfurt as interns at ITB, last Mr. Büchner/SS10)
